My name is Lillie, aka self proclaimed, “Diva of Fashion!”
Let me make this perfectly clear. I have no formal training in fashion. So I am writing this blog as some one who loves clothes, shoes, jewelry, handbags and color. OMG do I love color!!!
My mantra has been that if God chose to give me this plus sized body, I would not hide it under dark, dull hues. If I am going to be big as a barn, I damn well am going to be a pretty one! And I am thank you!
Does this mean this girl does not wear black, gray or my new love brown? Heck No! I wear these colors also because they get me compliments and that is the point of dressing well. Along with feeling good about yourself!
I offer up as part of my credentials, friends of “normal size” who have paid me to go into their closets to revamp their wardrobes. Many of them have gotten new jobs and wanted a whole new look to go with it. I am often asked to advise friends on how to dress for special occasions, including Weddings, Anniversaries, and Family and Class Reunions.
We will explore fashion from many angles and areas, and I hope this will become and interactive site where women can talk about style and support each other.
